Tips for a Timely Closing

Quick turnaround time from contract to closing depends on accurate information.  To help improve communication between all parties contact information for the Listing, Selling Agent, Buyers and Sellers is important.  If there is an existing survey, please provide it to the title agent or if a new survey is being ordered, please provide the contact information for the surveyor.  If the seller has an existing owner’s policy, will help the title examiner issue a title commitment quicker.

If any special arrangements need to be made for the closing or any parties are unable to attend the closing, please inform the Closing Agent as soon as possible.  If a Power of Attorney is to be used at closing, the title company will need to review it as soon as possible. If the buyer is using a power of attorney, the lender will need to review it prior to closing as well.
